Stretch creatively and make space to write!
Take your writing for a walk on the wild side. This is a six-week online group for writers of all levels - beginners especially welcome!
What would you write if you set aside what you think you know about...
... yourself as a writer?
... your strengths and weaknesses?
... what 'good' writing even is?

January 2024:
Beginner's Mind
If you are starting a new creative process, are new to creative writing, returning to writing after a break, or just feel like pressing your 'reset' button, this group could be just what you need!
This writing group isn't for everyone.
This group is for women who want to stretch the depth and range of their writing. It's for women who want to give themselves these priceless gifts:
- playfulness and experimentation
- creative community
- accountability
- a beginner's mindset
- priority to your unique stories
Writing is a journey into your darkest corners and wildest places. To adopt a beginner's mind is to be a fool sometimes, to not know before you pick up the pen, to look deeply inside and write without any filters.
The writing exercises will organically lead you to your unfiltered, wild voice - sometimes dramatic, sometimes comedic, often both.
This group meets Monday nights on Zoom.
Each week we'll share, listen deeply, and build meaning together. Homework and accountability are tools for you to use as you like.
Wild writing is playful and experimental. We test new ideas in the wild. Wild writing can be explosive and edgy, because it is uncensored. Wild writing can also seem absurd and even meaningless - until another wild woman reflects back her connection to the writing.
Develop focus and comfort while giving and receiving feedback.
Be ready to throw out everything you think you know about your writing, and form a completely new relationship with your writerly self.
Writing done in class will make it easy for you to start a new project, like a memoir, novel, or play. You can also create a collection of essays, blog posts, or poems from each week's writing.
Build momentum for the project you're already working on, or write just for fun.
Wild Women Writing is led by Sarah Elovich, creator of Rewrite Yourself.
